Please join us for auditions for our upcoming production of A Doll’s House.

Auditions will be held January 10-11 from 6:00pm-8:00pm each night at Sydney J. Lee Auditorium on the Bismarck State College Campus in Bismarck, ND.

Interested actors should wear masks to auditions and practice social distancing. Actors who audition on Monday may be asked to come back and read again on Tuesday. Roles being cast are:

Nora Helmer : young mother who is questioning her place in life.

Torvald Helmer: Nora’s husband who has just recovered from a serious illness and is now a bank manager. He says he loves his “little squirrel” Nora, but doesn’t understand her unhappiness.

Kristine Lind : Nora’s widowed school friend who is looking for work.

Nils Krogstad: a desperate man who works for Torvald and secretly loaned Nora money.

Dr. Rank: A friend of the Helmer family who is very ill. He loves Nora and Torvald and tries to help them in any way that he can.

Anne Marie/ Nanny/ Messenger: These roles will be played by one actress. These characters help to keep the family running and shelter the children from the worst of the drama that ensues.
